Writing this as I lay in bed with a steaming cup of coffee with as much cinnamon as I can muster. Caught some kind of bug and it is kicking me harder than any Jillian Michaels workout.
Let's see. What's been happening since my last post?
Friday: Worked out in the morning because I was leaving around lunch to meet my dad. Public transport in my country is not fun (in 36 C heat, mind you). Had lunch (salad and a 4 oz cut of steak), walked everywhere. Found an "in the meantime" wedding band, as we've been calling it. My fiance and I found the perfect band for him that had us both giddy but it won't be ready in time for the wedding so we'll use another ring for now and we'll get him the one we want later. He bought my ring earlier in a fit of excitement because it matched the engagement ring amazingly so we won't match, but we love the individual rings. I digress..
Dinner was more salad and Italian pizza (so the lovely thin kind with veggies and happiness) with my sisters who got off work and met us. Stayed up until about 1pm though working on a surprise for my fiance. Don't know if the nosy man is reading this so can't say anything else but that for now, lol.
Saturday: Woke up feeling extremely out of sorts. Don't really remember much really. I ate, hung out with my nephew and stayed home when they all went to the mall and napped. Didn't even track food because it's kind of a blur. I was supposed to meet some high school friends for dinner but opted out.
Sunday: Woke up with a headache but it cleared once I got some food and liquids in me. Even managed the Ripped workout and a yoga session (which I had skipped the two days before so I have catching up to do). All twists. It was amazing. Was supposed to go out and buy ingredients for an order I had but got lazy, went to church and just had an easy day. Best part? Got an invitation for interview for another teaching job. Got in touch, talked briefly over Skype and I'm supposed to start with them tonight. Just waiting for my roster and schedule and I'm good to go. Unfortunately went to bed quite stuffed up because I'd been making scarves all day. Found a lovely pattern for infinity scarves and I thought it would be nice to make some for my fiance's mom and sister as Christmas presents. I guess I'd inhaled some bits of yarn and I had some kind of allergic reaction.
Monday: Oh boy. Woke up feeling better, had breakfast, worked out. Went out to get boxes and ribbons and ingredients for a client. Baked 12 dozen cookies. The order was 5 dozen and 12 half-dozen boxes. Left those on racks to cool off, had a quick class with my regular student at 5pm, then went back to assemble boxes and pack cookies away. Started to feel quite achey and dizzy at some point, but eventually got everything into boxes and bags for my sister to take to her boss who bought them. Finished past 11pm. Took pills for the aches, downed a huge glass of water and passed out.
Tuesday: Still achey and woke up stuffed up. Blah. Just going up and down the stairs was making me break out in cold sweats. Needless to say, working out is out of the question today. I'm stubborn about working out but I'm not stupid. It's before dinner and I've already had more than 8 glasses of fluid. Mostly water, a glass of juice. On top of that had some tea and this is my second cup of coffee for the day. The warm drinks seem to ease some of the congestion from the allergies. Just taking it very easy today. Have class at 5pm as usual, chat with my fiance on Skype for a bit, then launch into my new classes at 9pm if all goes well. Conserving all my energy for that.
