I was motivated and completely ready to pull out of the slump I've been in and get back onto the fitness wagon yesterday... and then my husband brought out another bottle of wine while we played a game with our kids before I even remembered that I had a plan...
Ok, I flunked the Day 1 re-commitment to myself, however, I did get some fun time in with the kids, spent good time with my husband and got some gift wrapping done! That's a good thing right?
Today on the other hand, pure success!
and I have to say that I'm grateful for the snow!
Weird...That's a first! After walking the kids home, I shoveled a LOT of snow taking up my heart rate and the size of the piles on either side of my driveway hitting about 20 minutes.
Then after picking up my kinder kid, again, I tackled the fresh fallen
that seemed to cover ground faster than I could remove it. Another 20 minutes!
After tracking all my food and planning my PM snack, I STILL managed to get up the energy and motivation to do my walk/jog plan!
I have stayed in range on all items I've been tracking today and at my 8 waters so far for the day and I am feeling fantastic!
On top of all that, I got some laundry done, vacuumed upstairs and got dinner and lunches for tomorrow ready! I am truly a wonder sometimes!
Who cares if I flunked on the fitness yesterday!? I sure don't because I more than made up for it today and I gained some good family time too!
Tomorrow is a ST day and I'm going to be doing my starter workout of 20 jacks, 10 squats, 10 pushups, 25 high knees, 10 crunches, 30s wall sit and possibly 30s plank. And if I have it in me, I will aim for 3 times!
