Where's the wagon?

Monday, December 09, 2013

I have fallen off the wagon so badly I'm not sure I can see the tailgate, much less reach it. Work stress has been excessive.

Hang in there, don't give up! You can do this, you'll catch up to that wagon, don't be too hard on yourself!

Been there done that, my old job was so stressful and working 7 days a week just wore me down. One thing that helped me with stress was using my heavy bag in the basement and punching away my frustrations of the day. I also liked boxing on my Wii as well. Sometimes it's hard to find the time to do something for yourself and people that don't have the excessive stress and time commitment from work just don't understand. My doctor kept telling me I needed to work out at least an hour a day, when you work 70+ hours a week. I had one week that I put in over 115 hours and I don't know how I made it through it. Salary stinks since no overtime or comp days. It's hard to find the time to do anything. I got up had breakfast, drove to work, came home, ate dinner, and went to bed. I was just spent by the time I got home. emoticon

Sometimes the best thing to do is get up, dust yourself off and trail after the wagon until you can catch up and climb back on board. Good luck
