The Cost of Taking a Break During the Holidays-A SP article

I like the calculations in this article. emoticon

It gives strategies for at least minimizing the damage emoticon --like continuing to exercise emoticon even if indulging in holiday goodies. emoticon

Those realistic calculations with real numbers make more sense to me than general statements. Also I can chip away at the numbers of calories eaten and increase the number of calories burned. Just saying I am fat emoticon and getting fatter emoticon over the holidays makes me depressed . It certainly does not motivate me to go exercise.

Hopefully, this article helps you, too. emoticon

Enjoy your friends, family, and holiday emoticon events but keep those numbers in mind.

I think the reasonable thing is keep with the exercise ( and extra if needed) and portion size.

I remember reading this good article. emoticon

I read the article the other day, that only happens if you let it and I don't let that happen. Of course SparkPeople would write an article like that to scare people into not enjoying themselves.

I read this article this morning and it was quite the eye-opener. I did this over the weekend... enjoyed holiday outings in moderation and really got active. It definitely helped!!!

Great article
