I like the calculations in this article.
It gives strategies for at least minimizing the damage
--like continuing to exercise
even if indulging in holiday goodies.
Those realistic calculations with real numbers make more sense to me than general statements. Also I can chip away at the numbers of calories eaten and increase the number of calories burned. Just saying I am fat
and getting fatter
over the holidays makes me depressed . It certainly does not motivate me to go exercise.
