Change my thinking.....

Monday morning and the cold snap is still here. Below temperatures make me want to curl up in front of the fire and surf the internet for hours. It is both depressing and boring.

I talked on the phone for 30 minutes and walked around the kitchen the entire time. 2,400 steps according to the FitBit. I definitely should be tuned into that line of thinking with every activity. I emptied the dish washer next. Old habits would stack all like items on the counter until the washer was empty. Walk over and put them away. Today, I put each individual item away as I took it out. Efficient? Probably not. Better for me? Definitely so.

My next change would be the laundry. As I folded the laundry, I put it away as I went. My home is two story with a walkout basement. This process helped me add 5 floors to my FitBit this morning.

Now? As I am writing this, I am off to the basement to jump on the Elliptical Trainer for a 45 minute trip.

Change my way of thinking may very will change my waist line.
