Encouraging Sunday

Monday, December 09, 2013

The bitter cold and snow has forced me to keep my workouts indoors this week. We had an interesting day at church. One of our members wanted to come before the church and thank the body for their support and encouragement. She has been struggling with alcohol addiction for almost two years now, but with the help of the Lord, her family and her fellow believers, she is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It is always awesome to see how the Father can change a life. Please keep M in your prayers as she moves along this difficult road towards recovery and freedom.

Blessings

Praying for M. Let her know how impressive her actions, spurred on by God, are to all of us mere mortals.

I believe she finally saw and acknowledged that she needed the help God sent her. My favorite saying is: "If God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it." My prayers are with her in her struggle to break free from her addiction. emoticon

I will keep her in my prayers. It is awesome to see someone get help and thank the support groups that may have helped along the way. Getting over an addiction like that is not easy, so hoorah for her for succeeding!

Keeping her in my prayers! It takes a lot of courage to get in front of a group and express that.
