This week I rediscovered PB2. I tried this a few years ago and decided to try it again. We discussed it in my WW meeting this week.
This is a powdered PB. Bell Plantation extracts 85% of the fat from PB and the moisture so you are left with powdered PB.
You take two tbs pf powder and mix with a little water and voila! PB with less fat!
I realize that PB has good fat but for someone who love PB and is on WW suffice it to say, this product is very helpful.
Since WW Points are a registered trademark I can't give the exact points but it is 4 less than two tbs of the real thing.
Taste? Pretty good! It is not exactly like regular PB because you don't have the fat that gives PB that creamy feeling.
This morning I put two tbs in my weight control banana bread oatmeal and I was in heaven!
My next use will be. Ww salted caramel smoothie, milk and PB2 chocolate flavored powder. Did I mention they have a chocolate PB2? Imagine the possibilities!
I found this in the health section of my Kroger in Huntsville AL. You can find it at the Bell Plantation website as well. There are also lots of recipes on the site
The next product I tried are the new Kashi Pop Chips. They are made with Hummus I believe. I tried the sundried tomato and feta and the sweet onion. 27 chips is 3 WW Thingies. (Can I say that?)
Taste? Ok. I liked the onion better and I love that these have 4 grams of fiber but they were a bit of a let down. I think I need to try these again to be able to give a full thumbs up. Right now it is half way up!
