Just last week I increased my walking goal from 250 to 500 miles by March. This may be a bit of a stretch but with my goal of walking a minimum of 8000 steps per day, I think I can do it.

This morning I was all geared up and ready to go but the biting cold wind kept me from going too far. I did get in a little over a mile and intend to walk in the office building during my lunch hour.

Thurs. 3.2 miles
Friday 2.8 mile
Sat. 2.8 miles
Sunday 3.5 miles.

325.52 miles to go.

    I love stretch goals!! "Shoot for the moon and if you miss you will land among the stars." I take that quote to mean set BIG goals but don't beat yourself up if you miss them! Chances are VERY good you'll have gotten further down the path to health and fitness than you would have WITHOUT those goals!!
