Walked 4.2 miles outdoors in weather in the teens. It is very cold, but at least we have no snow yet.
Shopped at my favorite chocolate store for some holiday shopping. Bought 2 small pieces of sponge candy and another piece with choc covered nuts. I ate the 2 pieces of sponge candy and decided to save the last piece for DH. Did I really do that -- save a piece of candy for DH? Yes, I did.
Took MIL out to play/dinner. I ordered what I wanted but, and this is a big BUT:
Took only 1 piece of super delicious chocolate candy that SIL brought to the play, even though it was passed to me three times
I took a couple spoonfuls of an appetizer
Ate half my dinner and took the other half home for DH
Took only a spoonful of 3 fabulous desserts
This is all great progress for me in the food behavior modification department.

Made my first batch of holiday cookies. Had just 2 and stopped (oh happy days!)
Spent a nice evening doing a project with grand daughter when I baby sat her.
While I am not blogging super consistently, I am working at my health and fitness plan. I am far from perfect, but I am happy with my performance over the past few days because it shows real progress regarding my behavior.
It is super cold again today, with a slight dusting of snow. Should be able to walk in sneakers, not boots, a real plus.
DS1 is completing my unfinished kitchen project. My first order of the day will be to clear out the kitchen as much as possible over the next half hour. Xmas decorating will have to wait until this is done, which will hopefully be this weekend.
