I weighed this morning and am a pound down from Wednesday. Have weighed a little early as Iím bringing my weigh day forward from Wednesday to Sunday. Will weigh again on Sunday and hope I can keep up my 1 pound loss each week streak going. Only 6 days to lose a pound this week but Iím sure I can do it! Iím sure that plenty of exercise is the key to a good weight loss.
Question stolen from a friends blogÖ
ďTrue or false. I like the way I cook. ElaborateÖĒ
Well I do and I donít! Iím certainly cooking tastier foods now, more healthy (even the more calorific meals that I cook are healthier!) and trying to gradually introduce more and more variety, new foods, new recipes. I suppose I donít like that it is a gradual process and I havenít turned into a super cook overnight. There are still some meals that I would like to liven up a bit. I will have to try adding some new herbs and spices to them. Do you think it would work if I just added some spice to my jug of instant gravy? Worth a try isnít it?
I thought of another type of reason we eat, other than the hunger, desire, and craving that Beck talk aboutÖ.. habit!.... I had an evening snack habit for agesÖnow my evening habit is a mug of milky coffee which I really enjoy.
Beck day 17
Well I canít remember the last time I had a plate full of food and had to leave some cos it was too much. At home I cook just the right amount. I weigh my potatoes because Iíve finally learnt that without weighing there is no way I wonít do too much. If Iím eating out at friends or in restaurants it is usually self serve or reasonable sized portions. If I felt full during the meal I think I could leave some food. I know itís wasted or waistedÖ We are eating out soon at a restaurant Iíve not visited before. They have a salad bar I can fill up on before the main course. If there is too much on my main course plate I will leave it. In fact, I might just leave some anyway to prove to people that it can be done!
Have a good day all!
Oh and I almost forgot to say! Today I reached my 5% goal! :-)
