Not feeling inspired today. Cooper and I both slept in, then we went for a nice long walk. I have been sorting books in my library, with an eye to getting rid of some. Problem is I keep stopping to read the books. Slows me down. Anybody want some trashy romance novels? I have got plenty!

I donate mine to my local public library and get a receipt for the tax deduction. Or I trade them at used books stores. Or give them away to friends.

Sounds like me a couple of years ago when I cleaned out my shelves and starting using my Kindle. I took the books to a local discount book store and was able to get lots of book credit. I use the book credit for gift books and my daughter's school books.

I tend to read mysteries and history ,my husband says my idea of a romance is a book where only one person gets murdered LOL!

Good for you getting out at least! Fraid romance isn't my cup of tea. They would disappear like hotcakes in my building though. People put out anything, and I mean anything, from food to clothing and it usually gets snapped right up (a box of belts can u imagine?) and stuff I don't even know what it was lol. The joys of living in an apartment, you don't want it, someone else will.

I pulled out three large boxes of books stored in the garage . It is so hard to give up the ones you enjoyed and the ones that comforted you, the ones that went on vacation with you and the ones that are important to read. But I now am trying to keep only the ones I have read more than once. Enjoy your day
