Its been seven weeks since I reactivated my Spark People page. Since then I have dropped 7 kg! (15.4 pounds). Most important though, I have gained real insight into portions this time, and the value of a small amount of exercise done on a daily basis. Burning 150 - 300 calories daily makes a big difference to weight loss results. I have also found that over guessing calorie cost of food plus under guessing calories burned means one works that bit harder.
At some point the first plateau will set in. I have been reading motivation articles to prepare for that time, and it will be another level of challenge. Meantime I am enjoying the steady progress!
