NSV which should lead to an SV!

Saturday, December 07, 2013

No, not an SUV, but a Scale Victory. Twice in the last 24 hours I put food back in the fridge even though I had already tracked to make sure that it was within my daily allowance.

I made a one-piece-of-bread turkey sandwich, and planned to have about half-a-cup of sweet potato and raisin salad. After eating the sandwich and a bit of salad, I put the rest back. It was delicious, but I wasn't hungry.

Last night I ate a small brownie that our neighbour brought over. It was within my calorie count for the day, but I found it too sweet, and put the rest back for Peter.

I wouldn't have done this before. I always cleaned my plate. I think I'm really learning what it feels like to be comfortably full.

  Hi Gail...........
That is a great accomplishment.............I am still waiting to reach that feeling. I can feel it coming, because I just can't eat as much as I used to, but I welcome the comfortably full feeling that you have felt to help me KNOW when to stop!!!
