Small Glimpses of HOPE

Saturday, December 07, 2013

Yesterday in desperation I asked for friends to pray once again for my wandering boy. His saga is not over but today and even last night we have seen hope for the future.

Thank you to all my Spark Friends who have been praying over the last few months for my beautiful son with the incredible smile. Please keep on as we leave Brazil in the next few days for a time of sabbatical and healing in the United States close to friends, family and help.

I will be offline next week and potentially for several weeks after that as we move into a house lovingly provided by one of our supporting churches. Amazingly this week the pastor sent the most loving letter welcoming us back to their family once again and extending to us all the help we will need during our time in the States in regards to care for our whole family.

I have a lot to do in the next few days to get ready to go. My heart is still heavy but I have HOPE and will keep on!

Thank you once again. Spark Friends are the best ones!

Michele

How gracious God is to give your family such a warm welcome and accommodations from your supporting church!

Continuing to pray for your son... With our daughter, God is teaching me (continues to teach me!) that my journey is not her journey. As a parent, I understand the heartache you have as well as the challenge in how to handle each day... May He give you His wisdom and may you sense His precious Father's heart in the midst of it all.

Praying for you and your whole family, and especially your son. One of the sacrifices of the mission field is sometimes the toll it takes on the family and especially the children but God is faithful and does not forget your labor of love, he is an amazing healer.

Prayers. God knows how and will work out every situation when we lean on Him. Be blessed.
