Cards…check

Saturday, December 07, 2013

Ok my cards are signed & sealed now all I have to do is put them in the mail. My list over the years has dwindled considerably. What use to be a count of 80 years past is now down to under 30. Sadly many don’t even send Christmas greeting anymore. I even got my 1st every Christmas Email(ed) Letter.
Although money is tight I still enjoy sending my Christmas letter of what the kids and I have done with a note to a few distant relatives and friends. I’m not one on sending/mailing cards to neighbors or friends that I will see – as I feel a F2F greeting is so much warmer.

Merry Christmas to those of you I’ve become friends here on SP – Thank You for all your support!!

I still love sending and receiving cards.
I have quite a few relatives that don't even use the internet. I don't don't send letters with every card, (my life isn't that interesting, lol) but I do include letters to those that live far away that I don't get to see in person, and that are unable to keep in touch via the internet.

With postage going up though, I've had to cut back on my list a little bit each year.

By the way, I love your page background, beautiful!

I thought I was doing good by purchasing mine yesterday! My list has dwindled, too.

I too still send Christmas cards - hand addressed and signed. I have always loved receiving them and hope others do too. I can still remember as a child the thrill of the cards that would come in the mail and how we would wait for out mother to open them and hand them to us one by one.

Merry Christmas to you!
