Tv night with the baby girl

Friday, December 06, 2013

I am working later tonight but hubs is already hard at work so this evening it was just my daughter and I chillin' out watching Christmas shows on tv. My most favorite thing ever to do. Tomorrow is cookie making/baking day!
Hoping to figure out how I can make several of them lower fat and with Splenda. If you know any secrets please pass them on to me! Can you make chocolate chip cookies with it? What about no bakes? I hate to waste ingredients testing them out!

I have done a bunch of Christmas shopping on line and I am wrapping them as they arrive so that I am not stuck doing them all at once. I seem to be the only one that wraps them around here so I don't want to get behind!
Have a relaxing night and a great weekend!

    According to the web site:
Splenda Granulated sweetener measures cup for cup to sugar - so equal substitution
The Splenda Sugar Blend and Splenda Brown Sugar you only need half the amount to equal the same amount of sugar or brown sugar.
I have not personally used these. I have seen some low carb and low sugar recipes on SparkRecipes too that look good.

I miss my time with Whit but hopefully we are going to go shopping together on Monday afternoon!! As far as the chocolate chip cookies go..have you checked out using carob instead of chocolate? I don't really know that much about cooking either but you might see if it would work or if it is even lower in cals? Not sure is just what came to mind!!

Little Miss Betty Crocker! I wish I could advise you on the baking, but I'm clueless! Just be good, and no licking the beaters!
