Close your eyes and imagine all of your goals laid out in front of you on a giant billboard. Why do you want to reach those goals so badly and how will they change your life? What choices should you make today to get you one step closer to those goals?
I really need to take ownership of my health. So far (knock on wood) none of my medical issues have been a direct result of my weight, but I know my weight aggravates them. Also, I'm moving forward in my life and will need the self confidence being healthy will give me. I feel pretty good about myself now, but I've seen myself 30 pounds lighter and know how much better I can look.
I have a wine and cheese party to go to tonight (thus why I'm blogging early :) ) so the action step for today is not to go overboard with the snacks. I'll allow myself one go through on the buffet line, but that's it. I'm actually eating a little something now so I won't be so tempted by the snack items.
