SparkTeam Dinner and Recipe

Friday, December 06, 2013

The SparkPeople dinner last night was great! There were eight of us in an absolutely gorgeous member's home. (Edit: yes, she is gorgeous; but when I wrote it I was thinking of her house!!) Wish my hubby would have gone with me, but he opted out. I adapted an old recipe of my mom's and everyone seemed to like it. I got several compliments. Unfortunately, when I added it to SparkRecipes, I noted it makes 18 servings (or 9 big ones) but the nutrition information was not divided. Believe me, I've never met the person who could eat all this in one sitting:

If anyone knows a way to edit it, it would save me. Bet I have to delete and re-enter it. I baked it, but then transferred it to my crockpot to keep it warm. Inefficient as far as dirty dishes, but it worked.

I should have taken a picture of it, but forgot my camera. In fact, nobody took pictures last night. It was an oversight. It was an evening to be remembered!

Edit: I used the "makeover" function, as suggested, to produce the right nutrition info. Instead of over 500 calories, it now shows 31 calories per serving.

That would have been so awesome to see your gathering and friends in photos! Very surprising there wasn't someone with a smartphone clicking away as seems to be rampant these days!
Interesting way of doing veggies! My favorite way is roasting though, and I like to spice them up with various spices (not salt or pepper).

I don't know if it's possible to edit it, but rather than re-enter everything, you could probably do a recipe makeover and change the servings there.

Glad you had a good time!
