I decided to weigh myself a day early so I could be thrilled that I lost not one but several pounds over the course of the week.
Much to my chagrin, I'm exactly the same as last week: 234. So unless I'm right on the cusp, I probably won't see 233 tomorrow. That's quite a disappointment. But given that I'm walking 2 miles more every day, I can probably chalk some of that up to increased muscle mass. And I can take some solace in the fact that I didn't gain anything. I know I'm making good choices: I can feel the benefits of increased strength, energy and even alertness. It just would be nice to also see it on the scale.
