I may be down but I am not out...

As they say life comes at you fast... I am now on the injured list.. I wrenched my knee in kickboxing class this morning, Doc thinks I could of tore the manicuis (if I spelled that right) I cannot put any weight on the knee it hurts so bad..and is swollen. so have to have a MRI Monday..he wants me to stay off of it no weight at all on it so I have crutches to use.

I have been so determined these past few weeks. by riding my spinning bike everyday if not 2x a day. Last night I took a great spinning class at the gym and this Morning I went to Kickboxing where that is when I wrenched my knee the pain was and is unbearable I know that this will pass and I know I will get better but one thing is I am not going to eat my feelings this is the time to regroup, rethink, restructure my goals. and full steam ahead with what I got to work with which is not much but one thing for sure is I can stay motivated by working hard and keeping up with my tools that I use which is Spark, Facebook Friends and blogging and reading blogs..
This is not the time to overeat this is not the time to get all sorry for my self. which I know will set in but I am committing right here right now I am not going to let that happen.. heck I can still do sit ups or something LOL.. but serous I am glad I have this site and sparkfriends who care and support me..

    hope the knee gets better! I need knee surgery so I have to wrap my leg to even walk briskly on the treadmill, I feel your pain~good luck!

    There are a ton of exercises that you can do without your knee.. Push-ups, abs, one legged spinning if you clip in.
Be careful. Follow the drs orders, and know that we are here for you! Rest up while you have the chance!

  Rest, ice, compression elevation till you get that MRI!

Yes, it's already been suggested . . . chair exercises when the time is right for you.

    Spark people has a couple chair workout videos you could try...

injuries suck! but its important you give yourself proper time to heal so you can come back STRONG!

    I tore my meniscus and had to have surgery. My knee is better than it was before the surgery! Hope you get well soon whether you have surgery to fix it or not.
