There is so much uncertianty and negativity roaming around in my head. I really want to get this to stop. I want to have a new start. Somehow though I continue to move along this path.

So I am working to add positive thoughts and not listen to the negative ones unless there is some basis in fact.

I have affermations and some prayer thrown in.

I hope this works.

My DD and I were looking at a workbook I had when I went through a bad depression and there are so many gems of wisdom in it to turn negativity around. Like the list of rights... let's see if I can remember some. I have the right to be happy. I have the right to be healthy. I have the right to pray and have God time. Have you noticed that when you write the word smile it is easier to smile? You have the right attitude.

What day am I on? Maybe day 37 in the countdown of the writing diet? Still noodling about with it but I am learning what things I want to Keep and what I want to Throw away.

I have that problem too and I know how you feel. I have to concentrate on the people that have been very nice to me and that seems to help. Staying away from negative people has helped me too.

Take it one day at a time, remind yourself to have a positive focus for a short while a few times a day, then when that gets easier, more frequently. In time it will come, stay strong.

Be kind to yourself, you are grieving . One think that helped me was to think of the things I was grateful for when my mother passed. Even now years later, I still fondly remember the things I am grateful for.
As far as moving forward, perhaps it would be more doable to focus on just one thing.
