Resisting the urge to overweigh

It is sooooo hard to only weigh myself once a week! I'm dying to see if I've already lost my damn pound! I've been walking that extra mile and a half and reducing the calories, so barring increase in muscle mass, the scale should be my friend. Four years ago, I got to the point where I would weigh myself several times a day. That really was obsessive. It's good that I can stay off the fool thing even days at a time, let alone a whole week! Saturday is my weigh-in.

    I do weigh in on Wednesdays. Sometimes Thursday if I forget. Once a week is better, and never, ever on a Monday (after a weekend - yikes).

    Hang onto the once a week pattern. It will save your sanity. emoticon

    I was doing that too... becoming obsessive and weighing myself randomly throughout the day. I only now weigh myself first thing in the morning to see if I'm maintaining, losing or gaining to keep track that I'm doing okay.

I'll post on Mondays if I lost or gained.

  I know how you feel but believe me it will be more productive if you stay with the once a week. That way you won't be disappointed if you have a day that shows you are up instead of down. Those days can be real diet killers!!
