Tweeking things to Make them work

I have changed my eating. That resulted in a 50 lb loss this past year. I joined the YMCA and that helped to have a more active lifestyle with my boys. But....things just were not working. Since August I had lost very little weight, and I wasn't truly getting exercise for myself.
This sounds crazy, but in addition to my YMCA membership, I joined anytime fitness. It just wasn't working before. When I go to the YMCA I am busy with our sons, not exercising for myself. I do feel it is important to have the membership with them. So important, I am keeping that membership. But... I had to do something about my exercise.
I thought I would just get up early and go to the YMCA 2x's a day. But hubby pointed out that the extra gas, let alone the 1/2 hour there and back was really going to kill us financially and time wise.
Around the corner from where I live is anytime fitness. As crazy as it sounds, having 2 gym memberships is cheaper than making 2 runs to the YMCA. I still will have to get up early in order to get my exercise in. But now, I have time dedicated to meeting that need head on, fully giving myself allllll it needs to make it.
I am excited about this coming year and what it will hold for me. I plan to lose another 50 lbs. I want to walk my first 5K in the spring and rock climb at the YMCA with my boys!
I thank MostMom1 for her inspiration. Seeing her continue to exercise day after day after month after year... It kept me searching how I could make this work. Now, I need a stack of posti notes so I can start counting my days. :)
