You, my lovelies, have helped me push to the end of Level 3 of the 30 Day Shred. Tomorrow is my last day and goodness knows I've had to dig deep. I appreciate all of you more than you know.
It's been an interesting week. Very busy. But I'll try my best from now on to stay connected on here. Today was my second to the last day of the Shred. It's also day 15 +16 of the yoga challenge. Doubling up to make up for skipping on Saturday because the videos seemed light enough for it. I also have a 35 minute bike ride. Yes, stepping that up just a little bit.
Had a HUGE pile of veggies for dinner. Lots of volume, not so many calories. Also had a pear with lunch. Didn't quite make it to 5 servings, unfortunately. I really want to focus on meeting that before I leave.
Also focusing quite a bit on water intake. I want to try hitting the 3 liter mark everyday. That's 12 cups. I read this online
Some are claiming pics are improved due to good lighting but you can't deny she looks younger, light or no. And drinking water doesn't add calories, nor does it hassle me so what can it hurt? Any of you want to join me for a December water challenge?
I still have so much to do. My sister's boss is ordering the red velvet cake sandwiches so it'll be a pretty big order. My mom is ordering for her friends as well. Another lady is ordering Choc Oat Nut cookies for her kids' teachers.
My usual student is still popping up for 2 hour lessons in the afternoons. Plus I'm having another class tomorrow morning at 9 with another student to cover for one of the other teachers.
I have yet to start packing anything for my trip. I don't know how I'm going to pack up my life in a couple bags to bring halfway across the world just yet. I'm slowly meeting with friends from high school and uni and it really is starting to dawn on me. I'm getting married and I'm leaving here for good.
I still have that exit seminar to attend once I get my documents back from the Embassy. Should be this week.
I'm still hoping to lose 5-ish pounds before I take off. Have 3 weeks to go so it's not out of the realm of possibility. I know we'll be eating a lot when I get in, what with Christmas and the wedding. His uncle apparently took matters into his own hands and went ahead and booked a restaurant for us. Lol, his family is super excited and I'm so glad (and slightly flattered) that they want to be part of this special time.
In any case, I've told myself that once we've settled back in, I'm going to continue on my journey and hopefully not go overboard during all the merrymaking. I doubt I'll get in a proper workout for a week or two until we head home (we're having the wedding in NY where his mom's side of the family is and staying till after New Year)
