I think my biggest issue with Monsanto ( other than the obvious health issues and my right to real food not fako food) is just how much their hands are tied with our politicians, government policies and how of all the packaged food companies there are? IT really only boils down to about 10 main conglomerations, either thru direct ownership or by owning a large percentage of the board of the company. ( link at bottom to a handy chart showing ownership) What most people don't realize is that MOnsanto controls these companies. it is all about profit, keeping us in the dark and controlling food sources. The worst thing our country ever did? Was lose our personal relationship with food, knowing it;s source, eating locally, small farmers Personally I think all packaged fako foodstuff should be banned. We need a food revolution in this country!

Interestingly I just had a coversation with a co worker about this very thing. One point they made made sense, GMO's have been around for over 80 years, but its only recently with Monsanto that adding un natural properties to plants and plant chromosomes ... so while you think GMO is bad, you've already been consuming it - now you want labels that say GMO on it, but its been there all along. What you need are labels saying No chemically altered ... that's the simplest way i can put it ...

Roses and Corn is the first of the crops to be GMO and for a very long time, every time a breed is cross bred or plant cross typed, you are creating a GMO product ... never thought of it that way, did you? There's an old saying that goes money talks .. evidently Monsanto talks $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ...... What a terrible future to leave our children, what a terrible past we have had !!!

I've signed numerous petitions about Monsanto. They'd never get this crap through our Parliament, our Government would be drawn and quartered if it was even tried.

There's no way something secret can pass through our House of Representatives way too many eyes watching

Signed. The TPP is a trainwreck on a number of fronts, not the least of which is internet freedom. Good deals don't need to be negotiated in secret.
