In this season of hustle and bustle let all be reminded of this story:
The old professor stood in front of his class. Sat an empty jar on the table. Filled it with golf balls. "Is the jar full?" asked the wise old man. "Yes it is." replied the young'uns in his class.
Then he filled the same jar with pebbles which shook downward as they went in between the golf balls and rested until he had filled the jar. "Is the jar full?" asked the prof. "Oh definitely" replied his students.
Then the sage filled the same jar with sand and it went in between the balls and the gravel. He shook the jar until the sand filled the jar. "Is the jar full?" "Yes it is! Without a doubt FULL."
Then the professor took a cup of coffee and poured it in on top of the sand, on top of the pebbles on top of the golf balls. The coffee ran downward 'till it filled the jar to the brim. "Is the jar full?" "Yes sir! It is now!" was the reply.
The wise prof then reminded: When you think your life too full, there isn't room left for anything, always remember: THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR A CUP OF COFFEE with a FRIEND.
