Shortened but increased exercise intensity

So I've been contemplating getting Insanity for a while now and I have been slightly intimidated by it. I wasn't sure if I could do it or not. Well, Friday was my birthday and my husband and kids decided to order it for me for my birthday! I am so super excited about it (scared of it or not...I'm going to kill it!). I am currently working on the bridge to 10K program, but that will just have to go on hold while I work on Insanity, because there is just no way I can do both on the same day...I'm just not in that kind of shape. I'm hoping though that when I complete the 60 days of Insanity it will help me out with my running (give me better stamina and endurance). It certainly can't hurt!
So my husband had put the order in for Insanity on Thursday through our Amazon Prime account, and while we were waiting for it to come in I was continuing my Bridge to 10 K, and on Saturday I went for a 4.25 mile jog, not expecting the package to be delivered yet, and it showed! So later that afternoon I couldn't resist and decided to start the first day of Insanity even though I had already done my jog. I figured since it was only a half an hour fit test it wouldn't be too bad, right? Sooo wrong. But I loved it. That's exactly what I need. A great change up from the jogging that I've been doing. Yesterday I did the first "real" DVD and I was thinking, this is crazy! So although I exercised for a shorter period then I normally do during one of my Bridge to 10K jogs, I was a dripping, sweaty mess when I was done, and I had a super hard workout.
I'm hoping on the weekends to be able to add short jogs in as well (a couple miles or so). I know during the work week I just won't have time.
