Thanksgiving Week

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. I decided to not count my calories on Thanksigiving (because I did not want to spend all day using the recipe calculator) to figure out most of the items. i did however, tried to watch my portions and eat as well as i could., When I weighed in on Friday, I had lost .6 pounds. It's the first loss I've had in over a month so I'll take it.

I went on Saturday and did some clothes shopping. I've been trying really hard to not buy any new clothes because I want to be down a few sizes but I really needed a few new things for work and for winter. I ended up getting a new pair of knee high boots, a sweater dress, some leggings, a new shirt and a new pair of jeans. I'm really excited about a sweater dress. The last dress I wore was my wedidng dress 7 years ago.

my plan is to go get my hair cut and trimmed this weekend, switch to contacts and buy some make up so when I go back to work on Sunday/Monday I'll look more like a girl :P I think taking some time and taking care of my appearance will go a long way with my weight loss as well.
