This month was not very active in terms of running. I was mostly recovering from the marathon at the end of October.
No need to say that my October highlight was definitely my time at the Niagara Marathon. I was so happy!
I did it in 3h36min. Finished 137 overall, 22 female and 6th in my category!
I reach more than 1 goal: I completed a marathon!!! & I qualified for the Canadian Forces National Running Championship for all distances (26.2 ; 13.1 and 10k - hope to be picked up for the marathon) and Boston 2015!
The other factor affecting my distance tracking and my overall health is my work: November was a VERY stressful month. One of the major course I am responsible for ended 15 Nov. As a result, from 1 -15 Nov I slept an average of 3-4 hours/ night. Ouch! I tried to stay on track but ... Ok you get the picture.
So here is where I stand in terms of Going the Distance:
2012 Overall Total was 2024k/1258 miles.
October 2012 : 113k/70 miles
November 130k/ 81 miles
Keeping stats and comparing my own stats makes me realize that: I AM making PROGRES! Here is why ...
My total distance so far for 2013 is 2121k/1317 miles. I reach my goal - I already reach my distance goal!
My distance covered since last report is 341 k/211 miles
October 2013 : 187k/116 miles
November 2013 : 154k/95.7 miles
Tracking Food and no binging.
Drinking my water
Exercise or going outside for a short walk
Getting some zzz
Positive Blogging - do my recaps of the good stuff - there is a few chapters that I just did not take the time to port and I want to keep track of the positive in my life.
As always, there is a few challenge going around. That inspired me to share the #sparktheseason Photo a Day Challenge with my mom, sister and my two daughters as a fun way to stay connected and be positive (we live far from each other).
So here is a snap shot of #1 Lights:
My star at the top of our X-Mas tree - It belonged to my grandparents... It brings back so much good memories...
My daughter Emma and their tree... Nice! I like talking to her everyday on Facetime... She is working and studying hard... I know she will do well...
My sister posted this one:
, these lights were a gift that we all received from my sister Eve - she got those for us in Hong Kong . I miss my Sis Eve (1976-2009) - 4 years now but at time it feels like I could take the phone and chat - hope you can feel my love.
And my mom...
Cute! and Creative...
I miss her too, she is in Texas for the next 3 months -
... Sending positive energy to all my sparkfriends - let's make healthy choices NOW - no need to wait until January to make resolutions!
