Cyber Monday???

Sunday, December 01, 2013

I keep hearing comments about cyber Monday, but I have no idea what the big deal is. How is it any different from any other time you shop on line?

    Don't know??
No Black Friday shopping or Cyber Monday.
Online shopping I do a couple of times a year. And always look for a promo code. Sometimes I get a discount.

A lot of online retailers have pretty good deals on select products. It used to be just the first Monday after Thanksgiving - now it's like a week ... I expect it to turn into all of November soon, sort of like Black Friday has morphed into Grey Thursday, too. I gave up "combat shopping" in person years ago.

I follows Black Friday; however, apparently, it lasts the whole week instead of just Monday. I do 95 percent of my shopping on the internet.

I do neither Black Friday nor Cyber Monday shopping, so no problems for me either.

I shop when and as I need or want to do so. I would never go out on Black Friday. There is nothing cheap enough to entice me into that kind of atmosphere.

I am in a Christmas mood this year more than any year in awhile. It's because I have been able to help with my church's food ministry and also have fun shopping for gifts for a child referred by the Salvation Army. Even though I have a bit more money than usual this year, my grandsons will still get smallish gifts like usual from me. They have a ton of stuff and are not hurting for anything! Thanks for another great post!

I do like to shop online, it is easier. I won't buy clothes online, I need to feel the material, and see it in person.

2nd thought... Cyber Monday is where people instead of working at their job... are using their computer at work on company time to shop for more "STUFF" for which they do not have the unencumbered money to spend... and if they worked for me and I caught them... they wouldn't have a job either.

I try to avoid all the above. I am being a hum bug scrooge. I will be purchasing gift cards again this year

It is so sad that so many people spend money they don't have on gifts they cannot afford just to try to win a few moments of affection from the receivers of those gifts. They still have not learned you cannot buy love, but you can purchase "users".
Hugs

This year had Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Pre-Cyber Monday (Sunday), Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday and of course the the extended Black Friday Week.

I'm exhausted just thinking about it emoticon

I hate shopping on-line, so I am not sure myself... I assume that there are "deals" like the stores do for Black Friday.
