Just One Bite...

Sunday, December 01, 2013

emoticon Actually I need an emoticon that shows someone rolling on the floor hysterically laughing. There is no way in H#!@ I can do this. One little bite and I am done with!

I have to pass on it altogether. Are you kidding me one bite? Nope I would have to eat the whole thing. emoticon The worst part of the month of December are all the goodies will be calling my name. Chocolate is not my friend. Homemade Christmas cookies are my downfall. I will not be attending any Christmas cookie baking parties this year, actually any year for that matter.

I don't have the discipline for just 2 bites of a sweet. In this case abstinence works for me and I am OK with that. I know my limits and triggers.

I'm with you. Abstinence is still my best defense with certain foods like chocolate or pasta.

I'm with you on this!! I picture "just one bite" as a light switch; once it's turned on, it stays on!! I was thinking this morning that this will be a perilous month for me but I'm definitely up to the challenge. I'm reading your blog at just the right time; I will survive December!! emoticon emoticon

I'm so glad that I'm not a sweet type of person or I would be in serious trouble this month.

I am totally with you. I hate it when people say "just a bite won't hurt you". In my case, oh yes it will!

    My rule too.
I am actually not even hardly temped any more.
Being completely gluten and grain free has actually set me free.
I do have my occasional chocolate once and awhile with a glass of wine.
86% cocoa one small square a couple times a month and I am good to go.
I know I have an advantage, not being around any of this.
I use to treat myself once and awhile to a warm Krispy Kream, today I think I would vomit, no temptation and it was not a treat, but death. Gosh I love that I have changed, I have a ways to go yet, but I see real hope and success.

You hang in there, I truly believe in zero tolerances on triggers. I as well think having a clean healthy brain gives us ever advantage to make these changes. Our thinking and cravings do stop. There is no moderation for me on many foods, my triggers.
You are never alone! We do what we have to!

I'm right there with you! I stopped baking a few years ago and for the most part don't miss it.
