Weight:
Current weight is 175.0 kg that is 385.8 lbs
Week weight GAIN is 0.1 kg that is 0.2 lbs
Well, this is my first "gain" week since I'm able to weigh in that's about 3 month.
That was pretty much inevitable, since last weeks 11 lbs lost.
And I know I know, many can through rotten eggs at me for calling it a gain, thus quotes:)
I don't even think of this as bump on the road, last week was just a pot-hole so I'm back on track.
Here's a little, you might call it a trick, to teach your brain what really matters.
Let's say you calculated you caloric daily limits, you know your BMR and track your food.
You don't??? I think your should!!! You don't think so???
!!!Then you're the one who needs to do it the most!!! So, just do it!!!
Ok, since you know your weekly deficit you can make an estimate on how much you should be loosing every week, reduce this value by 25-50%. This will be your "on track" amount.
Every week you weight in and loose more then "on track" you deposit that surplus to a buffer.
Every week you loose less then "on track" or even gain you just withdraw from your buffer.

Food:
Had less time during week to prepare meals so ate all of mine 7 soup servings by Thursday, so couple of times I opened my fridge and saw Soup Nazi yelling "No soup for you!!!".
Anyways today is Sunday and it's time to make some more for the rest of the week.

Exercise:
Was able to have a long walk on Wednesday, my blisters are healed for the most part.
My applicable weather bar dropped a little lower, -6 C or 21 F is fine for a long walk.
Jeans, hat, scarf and good shoes(not that stupid once gave me blisters) and I'm good to go!
I do strength staining at home so my program revolves around not changing weight and on Friday I've added 5 lbs to my dumbbells, so now it's about 50 lbs each.

And I had pretty grate achievement this month - 2500 fitness minutes!!! Whoot whoot!!!
It's the first time I'm able to do so, will be hard to do it again during cold Russian winter...brrrrr

    I appreciate your suggestion about using a food buffer, or bank, from which to deposit/withdraw as needed. that is a great way to maintain sanity in the face of setbacks.

    Great idea for pre-cooking Sundays...I pre-cook almost all our dinners & lunches & freeze in individual portions...It is so EASY to choose type of soup or spark dinner that way...(used the spark cookbook for many recipes)

For example, lunch today is fiesta soup & dinner is a salad & bluegrass jambalaya...

This way you get great variety & healthy portion sizes too,...

    I am part of Calling All Canadians group and we track our weight loss for the month and our calorie deficit each day. It is really eye opening,

As for soup, I am having my breakfast and then I will put all of the ingredients in the crockpot. I think it will be vegetable noodle today. emoticon

    Soup coming later in the week - made turkey stock yesterday from Thanksgiving turkey carcass, should be tasty. As weather produced cold and snow, soup is wonderful. Enjoy.

    Funny that you should ask, but I am making beef stew!!
Big green salad and hot tea.

I batch cook it for the week and about every other day I have a bowl of it. Beef and frijole` tacos too! SO easy.

    Just as I was wondering where you are from...
you tell me. USA here. We are a touch warmer
than you...but only a touch. I am glad ypu are
treating the small weight gain as if it is a pebble
and not a boulder on your road to a healther you.
The changes ypu must be having due to all the
weight loss must be so exciting. Its always the
little unexpected one that gets me. Just keep
focused. ..which you are....be proud. ..you have
earned the right to. Stay warm.

    LOVE the soup Nazi comment! That's a great idea to make soup for the week. A couple weeks ago I made a vegetable beef stew from the spark recipes and froze several servings. I had some for lunches at work and a few for dinners.

I'm looking at soup recipes today to get some more ideas.

    Hahahaha~ Loved your comment about the Soup Nazi! Love Seinfeld. Hey, sounds like you've got a solid plan of action. Of course, you make 21 degrees sound like a walk in the park. ;) As for making soup today, no as I've got the last of some homemade beef & veggie stew to finish. Soup does sound delish & my Mom's got the best chicken noodle soup recipe if you like to cook from scratch.
