Today is the last day of the week for me.
My goals for this past week were:
Track every bite of food
I did this one. Every day. There was one day I debated not finishing my day, but stuck with it. I am feeling very good about this goal.
Drink more water - at least 8 glasses a day
I did drink more water. I drank water every day. That in itself was a success for me.
But I did not get my 8 glasses every day.
I need to stay focused on this one. I need to keep my full water bottle with me ALL THE TIME. Seriously. It's that simple for me. Today I reached my 8 glasses because my bottle is right beside me.
So it's time to decide on my goals for next week.
As these two goals have just started, they are continuing to be key goals next week also. For me it takes 3 weeks of meeting the goal every day to become a habit. I don't ignore it after that, but I no longer have to keep in right in my face as a goal to focus on all the time.
But since I've done so well this week - I know I didn't 100% meet my second goal, but I'll say I 80% met it - I will add one more goal to focus on this next week. I already have an idea what it is, but I'm not going to say until I Put it down in black and white in tomorrows blog.
Hope y'all had a good week. Hope you're happy with your progress. If not, only you can change that. Are you setting goals that are just too high? Baby steps will get you there - usually faster than trying to leap over the entire mountain all at once.
