Tired tonight, and over-eating

Peter has gone to the dress rehearsal for the concert the band is presenting on Sunday afternoon. I had lots of good intentions about what I would get done tonight. Instead, I've been slumped in the recliner, next to the fireplace, alternately eating and dozing.

I don't over-eat nearly as often as I used to. it's years since I ate a whole bag of chips. My biggest trigger now for over-eating is being over-tired, and not having the good sense to lie down and have a rest. or a bath with a good book.

Anyone else act this way? The good thing is that I'll be back on track tomorrow.

    I tried to sleep over at my daughter's Thursday night as and was up just about all night. Was a total zombie yesterday and didn't give a hoot about much. Yes I know the feeling!

    I was actually sick yesterday due to what I ate on Thanksgiving Day. I just CAN'T eat rich foods anymore and should know better.

    OMG ! You are a normal person... your desire to be busy-busy-busy everyday, every minute is the cause. Take time, or better yet... schedule in 'do-nothing' time for you, twice a week. emoticon

    OMG ! You are a normal person. You had a little slip, but more-or-less under control.
    Sorry, it is rough when you hit a weak link in your chain and your 'good/better choice' habit falls down on the job. Thankfully today is another day and you will be back on top of your game.
    I think my body does better at burning my stored food when I have the occasional slip-up. It lets my internal warning systems know that I am not in starvation mode, but in the just being careful mode instead.
