Excited to Begin a New Month

I was just reviewing my fitness minutes for October and November. Even though the numbers are about the same, October was far more sporadic. Somewhere in mid-November, I committed to 30 minutes of fitness a day, striving to complete it first thing in the morning. It's working! So, I'm going to keep doing it in December. I want to boost the fitness minutes, but I don't want to break what's working. So, anything that I get beyond the 30 is bonus. In 2012, I averaged 953 fitness minutes. In 2013, I avereaged1428. I thought that was impressive until I remembered the Fitbit. I had it synced with SparkPeople for a few months before I realized it was just way over-estimating my fitness. So, I disconnected that and manually log intentional fitness minutes. It would've been cool to have an accurate record because now I also have a consistent backlog of weigh ins to compare it to. The one thing missing is consistent calorie intake.

Tsk, tsk! Food tracking is such a drag! But, it is important. So, in December, I will commit to measuring and tracking everything. If it doesn't get logged into SparkPeople right away, I have my hard copy planner I can jot it down in. The other part of tracking is planning.

December Goals

3. Plan and track all meals
4. Stay in macro-nutrient and calorie ranges

3. Support my teams and Spark friends
