Okay, so I didn't quite make the 1 week accountability blogging campaign. But you know what... I'm okay with that. I have plenty of other goals and milestones that I keep track of, I think that my blogging history is probably the least of my worries! So, still be posting when I think of something worthwhile to say (as in, if I bore myself with my post then it probably wasn't worth it).
Anyways, I've had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! For the past 9 days I've been doing the beginners workout calendar at Blogilates and I love it SO MUCH. Only 9 days and I already feel like my core is way stronger (plus I've lost some pounds, which is interesting considering the plan doesn't incorporate an awful lot of cardio). So, started Thanksgiving with a half-hour-ish of pilates, then a cooking marathon. You see, my husband and I were sharing Thanksgiving with some friends so we only had to do about half the cooking, but still that was enough! Kitchen madness for 2 hours before we finally got to head out the door.
Dinner was delicious! Our friends are very healthy-food-conscious and of the paleo-persuasion, so I felt like we had a really wholesome but hella tasty meal to enjoy. Enjoyed some fun party games, including several rousing rounds of Dance Dance Revolution. My husband and I might not have the stamina of our youth, but I think we held our own quite well on the more difficult songs. However, we are still at the point where our brains know where our feet should go, but our bodies can't always keep up! Maybe this can be our new couple's workout that I've been looking for!
Got home late and crashed on the couch. Not a bad day!
