Yesterday I think (but didn't measure) I did very well calorie-wise at the Thanksgiving dinner. Small portion of turkey, no potatoes or gravy or stuffing. I had a few yam (scraped off the extra sauce) and a tablespoon of cranberry sauce. Didn't stay for dessert and refused to take any food home.
But, this morning, I opted for a double chocolate Costco muffin, 3 cups of watermelon and coffee with canned coconut milk. Breakfast was close to 1000 calories but since I didn't have it until brunch time I am going to call it that and eat only a low cal smoothie with rice protein before dinner.
I also plan to go to the gym and swim to get my metabolism going and go for a walk (maybe using my cane since my knees are pretty stiff.
I also need to improve the amount of water I am drinking as I have felt rather dry lately and only tracked 2 cups of water for the last several days.
