Day 8, and workouts on a (very tight) budget

So I guess I didn't really fall off the wagon these last 2 days, I just lost my balance a bit. Today has been great so far, I did my exercise (I even added light dumbbells without passing out!) and I'm well within calorie range, even after enjoying a nice cup of hot cocoa. Lol.

Now to other things.. I have seen threads here and there asking about how to work out without money. Let's face it, going to the gym ain't cheap. At least not in Sweden where I'm from. So for people like me who can't afford that (and I wouldn't go even if I could) but still want an awesome workout program.. What to do?

Well, first of all... Going to the gym is NOT the only way to lose weight. What I did the last time around, was to do it the super cheap way and use exercise videos on Exercise TV. Which I heard no longer exists, so now I started using videos on Youtube instead. Perfect!

Also, another SUPER site is, they actually have a workout program for all levels of fitness to follow day by day, which is fun because it gives variety to your workouts so you don't get bored. They also combine cardio with strength, so you keep your body guessing.

    There is a team called 'workouts at home' or 'working out at home' or something like that that has a whole lot of tips and shares about cheap workouts in the comfort of your own home. It has come fun challenges also. I used to be a member but wasn't able to get involved very much because I'm active in other teams which consume more of my time.     I love walking. But I also have some exercise DVDs. Borrow them from friends first if you can to see if you like them? Callenetics is good.

    I love checking out dvds from the library! emoticon and spark has some videos. Free is awesome!

    I don't understand why people think that in order to workout one has to go to the gym. I think I can get a good workout at home but I go to the gym because I am a runner and when the weather is too cold I will go to the gym to use the treadmill. My house is too small for a treadmill.

    You tube has some great routines. I just found the BeFit Go series that has routines that can be downloaded to a mobile device.
