Thank you all for being my SparkFriends. I'm sorry I haven't been on lately. I started a new supervisor job and it's been rough getting the hang of things. Also, I have to commute and hour and a half each way 5 days a week. The commute has been cutting into my gym work outs. I haven't had time to hit the gym but I've been taking the stairs at work as much as possible. Also I haven't been able to keep track of what I eat even with my SparkPeople App, I need to set an example and our work doesn't allow phones. I think after the dust settles then I'll be able to get back into a routine.
Before I used to hit the gym right after work. I think I'm going to try getting up an hour earlier and hitting the gym before I need to go to work. Also I will start taking the bus from San Antonio to Austin next month. The bus has Wi-Fi so I can spark all the way up there and back.
You don't need the gym; you can get off the bus one or two stops before your final stop; standing in the bus instead of sitting the whole way--when standing up, contract your abs. The stairs are also a great way to exercice (check out the videos on the Internet for ideas).
