Update on my stepbrother's surgery

Thursday, November 28, 2013

The surgery was very long - the tumor was large and involved the duct between his kidney and liver. The think they got it all and that it had not metastasized any further but will be doing chemo as soon as he is well enough. He went into surgery at 5 a.m. and didn't get back to his room until after 7 p.m. I just got notification that he is able to have visitors and phone calls now.

Helen is doing about the same and I am really praying that the weather warms up about 5 degrees so that we are not ice skating - I will not go if it is icy but would be devastated if I missed tomorrow's festivities.

Blessings on all and prayers appreciated and continue to be appreciated too.

Blessings on all and HAPPY THANKSGIVING
