So when I was in my early 20's a doctor told me to use the gi diet to lose weight. I couldn't fully understand it but I bought the book. I did follow it a little and lost a little bit but have not really picked it up again in years. I have PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) which causes more male hormones in the body and insulin resistance. What I do understand is that the gi diet is really supposed to help woman with this condition to lose weight, balance the sugars/hormones, and also it is supposed to help with infertility. J and I have talked many times about wanting to start a family after the wedding. We are both going to be in our thirties so we don't want to wait too long.
I am wondering if there are any woman out there like me. Are there any who have found great success with the G.I. Diet?
Also wondering if those of you who have been following this diet have found ways to make it simple and easy. I work shift work and so I find it hard to create meals for me to take to work and also for J to have when he gets home and I am at work.
Thank you all
