baby steps

Today is my rest day. Ironically I spent a good amount of the morning getting food ready for tomorrow. Plus two trips to the grocery store. I chose to walk instead of drive as it is 3/4 of a mile round trip, doing well on mynfood plan but need to eat more in the morning and figure a good high protein snack for afternoon. I can't have nuts and only can have yogurt twice a week due to lactose intolerance. I welcome suggestions.

    What about eating an apple with Sunbutter? Carrots and a hardboiled egg? Hummus and crackers? Edamame? Those are all on a list of foods with protein given to me by my dietician that are within your restrictions.

    It's great that you got some waling in going to the grocery store. Are there any protein bars that don't have nuts or dairy in them?
