Going well.

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

Things are going well again. I'm getting back on track and it FEELS good.

emoticon I made my green smoothie, that I haven't had since August, and it was soooooo good. I don't know why I put it off for so long.

I was doing so well with having at least 2 veggie smoothies each day, back in Sept & August. I wasn't having any pain from my arthritis, I wasn't having any cravings for sweets or over eating, and I was loosing weight at a good pace.

emoticon But after going to TX and getting off my smoothie trend, even for just 2 weeks, I crashed and burned, and just couldn't get back up.

But yesterday I finally made one, and it was great. I actually woke up without pain, which is amazing. That really is a key component for me. Veggie smoothies keep me on tract, and help me get my vitamins in naturally.

I don't know how, but they are just what my body needs.

So feeling really good. Thank you all for your support.

I finally got a Nutria Bullet and am making smoothies. Fell off track for a while but now that you are back, I'm going to try to do better. You always did inspire me. I also add many fruits to my spinach smoothie - how do you make a veggie one that tastes good? Or do you just hold your nose and chug it?

Btw, Happy Thanksgiving!

Can you tell me a little more about your veggie smoothies? I do fruit smoothies with lots of dark green leafy veggies in them, but have never moved to an entirely veggie smoothie.

Good for you for getting back on track!! :)

June, I'm glad you're back on track and feeling better! Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that poor nutrition not only hampers our weight loss, it can manifest in more aches and pains. emoticon
