There must be some sort of diet Peter Principle that this covers -- Although I weigh myself every day, Tuesday is my official weigh-in day. That's the day I track my weight on Spark People. For several weeks now, whatever I weigh on Tuesday, when I weigh myself on Wednesday it is always less.

I can't say I'm more careful on Tuesday since yesterday was a no good, very bad eating day. Yet, I was an entire pound less today. I just have to shake my head and laugh!

If I decided my weigh-in day would be Wednesday, would I weigh less that day or would I weigh less on Thursday? What's a girl to do??!!

lol! :-D That happens to me sometimes if I weigh myself on Friday, and then check again Saturday morning! (Guilty acknowledgment: I'll use the Saturday as the official weigh-in when it beats Friday's, lol!) Hey, we do what we have to stay motivated I figure, hope you're having an amazing Thanksgiving Weekend!

Whatever the reason, the general trend is going down Janet, so smile and enjoy!

I have had the same experience of losing weight after a particularly bad eating day, and I have heard the same thing from other sparkfriends. I think it may be good to confuse our bodies into thinking that we're eating in an uncontrolled way again. The body says 'Woo hoo, the good times are here again, I can relax!!', and slip, out goes another pound.
