three gyms is what it takes

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

as an old fart in the Medicare realm I get to purchase a supplement. Medicare doesn't cover everything so you still need insurance to help pay for that 20%. I bought the good plan that has Silver Sneakers. (I didn't know it for a year). When I found out I quit Gold's gym and joined three or four others. There are a 1000 nationwide. My favorite is Anytime Fitness. There are two of them in my general area. They are a new franchise and have brand new stuff in each one. Lots of toys. They give you a fob and you can swipe yourself in at any hour. You might be the only one in the gym. It is like being locked in a toy store so you can try everything with no constraints, or having to look like you remotely know what you are doing. great fun might as well train muscles in comfort.

The other gym is Body Zone huge place with pool, indoor track, etc. I like that place too since I can get indoor steps comfortably. My favorite piece of equipment is the roman chair with a Bosu ball back to it. Might as well be comfortable.

Wish we had the Silver Sneaker's option but the supplement offered in our area doesn't include it.
