What I've learned over the past few weeks

EAT LUNCH!!

I forgot to eat lunch on Friday and completely overate (or at least felt like I did!) later in the day.

Same thing today. Exact same thing. I'm still hungry (although I shouldn't be!) and I've already eaten a day's worth in one meal (it's a good thing it's almost all I've eaten today is in one meal!). But I still want to eat more. Is it that I'm still hungry? That I need protein? That I've had too much wine?

Regardless, I need to eat lunch and get protein early on in the day and not wait until the end!

I do have a new plan - instead of eating an apple for my snack at work, I'm going to do 1/2 apple (to reduce the carbs) and 1/2 egg (to increase the protein). I'm hoping the 1/2 egg will decrease the amount of food I eat for dinner when I get home from work!

But for now, I'm going to enjoy food (I'm totally craving red meat right now, it's been a good 2 months or so!) and have an awesome workout and strength training session tomorrow.

Definitely go with the WHOLE egg and WHOLE apple. That would be 90ish calories for an egg and 80-110 calories for the apple depending on what size. And, if you're only getting in about 800 calories a day (I read your other post about your disordered eating) then you definitely need the extra 200ish calories.

Yeah, I vote whole egg and apple ! :D Or, how about two egg whites, if you are worried about cals that much? My boyfriend eats a TON of hard boiled eggs, and he'll usually eat 2 eggs whites and 1 whole egg in a sitting.

Go ahead and eat an entire apple and an entire egg. Neither are that many calories and both are good for you. And aren't you supposed to be working on body fat, not weight loss. In fact, throw away your scale completely and only go by what the PT says at the gym!

It's the wine. The alcohol upsets your stomach and makes you crave foods. And if you've had enough then your inhibitions lower. I am guaranteed to overeat if I drink even a sip.
