Wow, just figured that out! Long weekend ahead!
Well, we discussed Thanksgiving dinner and came up with the following - there will be turkey, brined and roasted. There will be scaled down mashed potatoes with the skin on, just lowfat milk added (no butter or other fattening stuff). There will be fresh green beans - no green bean casserole with fried onions on top. There will be stuffing. There will be gravy. Ohhh, and there will be a tossed salad. Dessert will be ice cream pie made with frozen yogurt and slow churned ice cream with sliced strawberries to top it. There will be a pumpkin pie too. There will be no sweet potatoes with all the gunk on them, no pumpkin cake rolls, no dinner rolls, no fruit salads, no fat laden salads. I think I can get through this dinner and be in the top end of my calorie range for the day. The family is all perfectly fine with it! Yippee!!!
