I've been trying to lose weight for so long!

So long! And I do my best for a while. Maybe lose a kilo. Then I slip back into my old habits. It's not that I eat so badly but I guess that there are too many days that I exceed my calorie quota by 200-300 calories and then I see no change and I get discouraged. Well, I'm not giving up but I have to admit that I don't really believe anymore that I will ever lose weight.

    I think we all fall into that way of thinking. Losing weight and getting healthy is hard, and can seem like a never ending challenge. I get the exact same thoughts periodically throughout the year. I haven't yet figured out the fast and simple way out of those doldrums. My biggest challenge during those times is not eating enough, eating the wrong things and not exercising.

The one thing I try to remember when I get discouraged is that I've already lost 40 pounds, so I know I can do this! And I know that I can always reach out for support from my SP friends and my friends/family.

    Keep at it. I really have to log my food daily and I'm going on three years of maintenance. The one period of time that I didn't, the weight crept back on. Stay vigilante, exercise, log, and blog to get support. I know emoticon If I can do it, YOU CAN!
