Well get me a Staples button cause that was EASY

Monday, November 25, 2013

So far I have only been at this for two full weeks. In this time I have basically eaten with a perfect record. I did have two bean burritos from Taco Bell on Friday. I thought, what damage could that really do.. Well, let me tell you. That is 740 calories!!!! That floored me. I thought it was a fairly healthy choice. Nope..nope nope nope. As a matter of fact after a quick view of the nutrition info for Taco Bell it is pretty much all terrible. I have cut out fast food except for that one learning experience. This is a huge accomplishment being that I have pretty much had fast food for EVERY meal for the last 9 months. I have also cut out soda. And last, but not least, I have stopped eating ice cream. I am a binge ice cream eater and sit at home like a crack addict thinking I should just go get some. Then telling myself no, I don't need it. Then getting up to go get some, and sitting back down telling myself no. This pattern goes on for a while but I have not gone to get any as of yet. I may never be able to allow myself to eat it again. Floodgates... not a chance I want to take yet.

I have been doing good on my fitness too. I am doing the 6 week walking program with Leslie Sansone. It is great. I can work out at home or I can walk outside. I bought a pedometer. Pretty cool little gadget. I find myself hating my workouts still. I am not sure I will ever love it, but I am dedicated to it.

So, with the first 2 weeks down, good eating and consistent exercise...I have... (drum roll please) (okay that made me think of cinnamon rolls..I still have issues to master lol) .... lost 10 pounds already. I need to take a photo so I can start measuring the physical changes better. :)

When I started looking at nutritional information charts, I was SHOCKED! There are some better choices at most restaurants, but you really have to research before you go.

you can print out most resturants calorie guides and keep them with you as a reference as to what you are eating when you go out. Good luck to you
