1. Have you set a new short- or medium-term goal or challenge recently? Do you have a goal or challenge that you have been working on for a while? What is it? What do you hope to gain from it?
I am a goal setting machine. I am always writing and re-writing all kinds of goals. I have been a seven equities goal setter for well over a decade: health, career, financial, social, spiritual, family, education. Especially for my business, I am a wiz at writing business plans…implementation and execution of the plan is my challenge and my short term goal is to focus on execution. 2014 is the year of execution.
Fitness and nutrition are an important part of my business life not just for vanity but for energy. It takes a lot of energy to be in sales. As I put myself out there day after day to serve the needs of my clients it is like show time all the time. I have to perform…my song and dance is made a lot easier if I am energized and happy. Exercise and healthy food are a definite x factor in my business success or failure. The better I am at following my workout regime the better my chances of following through with my career and financial goals.
I generally have a 30 day (hip hop abs, power half hour, yoga booty ballet, brazil butt lift) to 90 day (p90x/insanity hybrid) Beachbody round scheduled in WOWY year round. Even if I don’t follow through on the WOWY workout I have back up with my gym or yoga practices. I have plan a, b, c…probably up to at least g. When I think about execution I give myself a lot of variety…as long as it’s fun and productive and leads to better health and vitality in my body and mind it will also help my business. Business is my main goal and focus right now.
